At first glance, Pylos seems like one of the stranger games, but it doesn’t lack beauty or fun. The goal of this board/educational game is to be the player who places a ball of their color on top of the pyramid. Since you have the same number of balls as your opponent, logic suggests that the other player will place their ball on top and win! But that’s not exactly how it works. Players can save their balls and force their opponent to use theirs, reserving their own for later. At least, that’s the theory; in practice, it’s much harder than it sounds.
