Established on the fertile land of a former monastery, two villages have maintained the dual tradition of brewing beer and baking bread. While they share fields and resources, they still take pride in their friendly rivalry, attempting to outdo each other in the quality of their products.
The board game Beer & Bread is a multi-use card game for two players. Its unusual round structure provides a unique experience with every new game. In this game, players will control one of the villages that produce beer and bread. Over the course of six years—which alternate between fertile and dry—you must balance your obligations of gathering and storing resources, producing beer and bread, selling for coins, and upgrading your facilities. However, to win, you must maintain a balance between your baked and liquid products. This is because after the sixth year, money is only scored based on the combination of goods. Will you defeat the rival village?
