Catan Helpers (in Serbian) is a mini-expansion for the board game Catan (in Serbian), compatible with both the Catan Seafarers (in Serbian) expansion and the 5-6 player extensions for both titles. The expansion includes ten character cards, each with a unique ability that a player can use once or twice before exchanging it for another.
For example, Marianne allows you to take one resource card if you roll the dice and don’t receive any resources (unless a seven is rolled). When a player builds their second settlement, they choose a specific character card, with the usefulness of the cards increasing to help balance the advantage of earlier players. A player must use the ability of their current card before swapping it, but they have the freedom to choose a new card, adding an extra layer of strategy to the game.
