Catan Seafarers (in Serbian) is an expansion for the board game Catan (in Serbian) that introduces new maritime routes, which players can build just like regular roads. The expansion includes new hexagonal tiles featuring significantly more water than those in the original game. This is a licensed edition in Serbian, Slovenian and Croatian.
In the game Catan (formerly Settlers of Catan), players compete to become the dominant force on the island of Catan by building settlements, cities, and roads. Each turn, dice rolls determine which resources will be produced on the island. Players collect these resources—wood, wheat, brick, sheep, or stone—to develop their civilizations, reach 10 points, and claim victory.
Catan has won multiple awards and is one of the most popular board games in modern history, thanks to its remarkable ability to engage both experienced players and those new to the hobby.
