The board game Little Red Riding Hood is one of the board games from the Tales & Games collection, based on the well-known story of Little Red Riding Hood and her encounter with the big bad wolf on her way to Grandma's house.
Naturally, the goal is to help her reach Grandma's house as safely as possible, but... is everything really as it seems? What is distinctive about this game is that it can be played in two modes! In the first cooperative mode, players work together to reach Grandma's house before the wolf catches them, while in the second mode, one player takes on the role of the wolf.
During the first game mode, players will help Little Red Riding Hood reach Grandma's cottage before the wolf gets there. In this mode, the wolf is controlled by the game itself, and the other players turn over path cards from the deck, collecting flowers, but also food, to help Little Red Riding Hood reach Grandma as quickly as possible, but not empty-handed. If the wolf arrives before Little Red Riding Hood, he will eat Grandma, and the players have lost the game. So be careful in the forest, you never know who is lurking and hiding in the shadows.
But, in the second game mode, one player plays the wolf! This time, not everyone will have the same goal. Unlike the first game mode, the wolf chooses the path cards instead of the players drawing them randomly from the deck. The other players play as characters who help Little Red Riding Hood reach Grandma's cottage before the wolf arrives. Those helping Little Red Riding Hood try to outsmart the wolf, so they can confer during the game, but also 'bluff' and spread misinformation so that the wolf doesn't figure out their plan. Who will turn out to be the craftier one in the end?
