You and your adventurous friends have finally found the Forbidden Island. Four valuable treasures are located on it, but they are hidden. You will search the island for clues that will lead you to them. However, the island is slowly sinking, and you with it! Using each player's special skills, you must work as a team and figure out how to get yourselves out of trouble. If one of the treasures or your only way off the island (the Helipad) sinks, you lose. If you find all four treasures and escape the island by helicopter, you win! Forbidden Island is a visually stunning cooperative board game.
Each player chooses one of 6 characters who has special abilities that will help you win the game. On their turn, players move their pawns across the island, which is constructed using tiles, and try to find the 4 treasures before the island sinks. In each turn, players will draw cards from the Flood deck to see which tiles are submerged. If a tile is flooded for the second time, it is removed from the game, making movement around the island more difficult for the players.
On their turn, players have 3 actions they can use as they wish – move one tile, shore up one submerged tile, or give another player one Treasure card. If you collect 5 identical Treasure cards of the same color, you obtain that treasure.
As the game progresses, the water will rise more and more, and thus more tiles will be flooded. Using their abilities and teamwork, players must find a way to retrieve all 4 treasures and reach the Helipad, where rescue and victory in the game await them. The game comes with rules in Serbian or English.
