Founded on the fertile land of a former monastery, two villages have maintained a dual tradition of brewing beer and baking bread. While they share fields and resources, they still pride themselves on a friendly rivalry, each trying to outdo the other in the quality of their products.
Beer & Bread is a multi-use card game for two players. Its unusual round structure provides a unique experience with every new game. In this game, players control one of the two villages that produce beer and bread. Over six years—which alternate between fertile and dry—you must balance your duties of gathering and storing resources, producing beer and bread, selling for coins, and upgrading your facilities. However, to win, you must maintain a balance between your baked and liquid products. After the sixth year, your money is only scored based on the combination of goods you have. Will you defeat the rival village?
