The famous Parisian café, a symbol of elegance and relaxation in the heart of the bustling city, has temporarily closed its doors. A complete renovation is underway, and you have been given the chance to compete for the most prestigious part of the job: the redesign of the iconic parquet floor.
In Intarsia, you are master craftsmen competing for the coveted contract. Your task is to embellish the floor with high-end intarsias—artistic wooden inlays—and prove that your vision is the only one worthy of this historic landmark.

The game challenges you with an intricate puzzle where every move requires precision and strategic planning. Each floor ornament can consist of one to four filigree wooden elements. These are puzzled together from the outside in. The more complex and richly detailed the ornament, the more victory points it scores! During the building phase, you use material cards to pay for your wooden elements. You must follow the building rules carefully to ensure your artistic pieces fit perfectly. Be faster and more skillful than your competition! By fulfilling specific requirements, you earn tool tiles that provide valuable bonus points.
Once you’ve mastered the basics, flip the floor plan to the B-side. It offers new variations and additional strategic challenges that will test your skills over and over again.
