The board game Little Battle is a card game for children. The game includes a deck of 27 animal cards in blue, yellow, and red, with values ranging from approximately 1–10. At the start of the round, each player receives a hand of five cards, places one face down on their longboat, passes the cards to the left, chooses another card, and so on until they have five cards on their longboat. They then take these cards into their hand, and everyone simultaneously chooses a card and places it face down on the table. Use these animals to win treasure chests, which also come in blue, yellow, and red. The chests are shuffled and placed in two piles. You play your card face up, and then everyone reveals their card:

• If your animal does not match the chest color, remove it from the game.
• If there is only one animal next to a chest, the owner of that card takes the chest.
• If there is more than one animal next to a chest, the one who played the highest number wins the chest.

Continue playing until all five of your cards have been played. If there are still chests remaining, shuffle the animal cards and play another round. After all the chests have been claimed, flip the chest cards and count the coins on them to see who has the biggest treasure!
The game includes three animal chiefs that have a value of 0 but a unique special ability that can win you a chest you wouldn't otherwise get. Add them to the animal deck for an extra challenge.
