Mice in four colors race toward their cheese while facing obstacles set up by other players during the game, ensuring excitement from start to finish.
Quoridor Kid is an educational and strategic game for 2 to 4 players, suitable for preschool children and adults alike. Each player has their mouse and corresponding cheese in a specific color. The goal is for each player to reach their cheese on the opposite side of the board and be the first to do so. Players also have barriers that they can use to redirect others, thereby lengthening their path to the cheese. However, players must carefully decide on each turn since they have only two options: either lengthen another player’s path or move their mouse closer to their cheese. For this reason, timing is crucial when choosing a move.
Players must also pay attention to where they place their barriers, as these barriers can backfire since they apply to everyone, regardless of who placed them. At some point, the barriers will form a maze (or corridor), and the first mouse to navigate through and reach the cheese is the winner. It sounds simple, but apart from the straightforward rules, the game itself will be quite the challenge. Children will observe every move you make and quickly show you what they've learned.
