The board game Rolling Realms, created for the pandemic era and with the idea that it can be played online with friends, is a roll-and-write game in which players compete to earn the most stars across a series of mini-games, over 3 rounds.
At the beginning of each round, any one player must shuffle their cards and randomly flip 3 cards face up. After that, all other players must find and flip those exact same cards from their individual sets, so that everyone is using the same cards for the round. Each player rolls 2 dice, shares the results with all players, and writes the rolled numbers onto their score card in the first available spots, reading from left to right for consistency. Players can use each die only once per turn, each in a different realm. You cannot activate the same realm more than once per turn, nor can you use the same die more than once per turn. You may spend resources at any time while activating realms. After 9 turns, the round is complete. Record the number of stars you earned this round on your score card (including every earned but unspent resource, which is worth 0.1 stars), and then erase everything else on the score card and resources. After the third round, the game ends, and the player with the most stars is the winner!
