Slide – a board game that tests your memory and strategic thinking
Slide is a dynamic board game with cards that playfully develops your memory, perception, and strategic thinking skills. As an educational game, it is ideal for everyone who enjoys games that encourage logical reasoning and careful planning.
The game uses 100 cards numbered from 1 to 10. Each player draws 16 random cards and places them face down in a 4x4 grid in front of them. Then, simultaneously with the other players, each player selects one card from their grid and places it in the center of the table. After that, players choose one of the available cards from the center and return it to their grids.
However, the card cannot be placed just anywhere: it must be positioned on the edge of the grid and then pushed into the row or column, shifting the other cards to fill the empty space. Over the course of the next 15 rounds, players will gradually reveal their entire grid.
If two or more cards with the same number end up adjacent, they cancel each other out and are removed from the grid. At the end of the game, players add up the values of all remaining cards — the goal is to have the lowest total score! The winner is the player who organizes their grid most efficiently and achieves the lowest final score.
