The board game Forest Shuffle (in Serbian) gives players the opportunity to collect the most valuable trees, and then attract various forest animals to them, thereby creating an ecologically balanced habitat for flora and fauna.
To start, each player has six cards in hand, with cards depicting either a specific tree species or two forest inhabitants (an animal, plant, mushroom, etc.). The latter cards are divided in half, either vertically or horizontally, with one inhabitant in each half of the card.
On a turn, you either draw two cards—either face down from the deck or face up from the table—and add them to your hand, or you play a card from your hand by paying its cost and then putting it into play.
During setup, three winter cards are placed in the bottom third of the deck. When the third winter card is drawn, the game ends immediately. Players then tally their points based on the trees and inhabitants in their forest. The one who scores the most points wins. Are you ready for this forest journey?
