In the board game Quacks of Quedlinburg, players take on the roles of quack doctors (charlatans) hoping to create the best potion from the ingredients in their bags. The better the potion, the more money you'll earn from it. With the money earned, you can buy higher-quality ingredients and use them to create even better potions. But be careful—make a mistake while mixing, and if you add too many ingredients, the entire cauldron could explode! In some cases, this can be avoided, but not always... When this happens, your potion won't earn you any money, meaning no new ingredients, and the final result depends on that.
Quacks of Quedlinburg pushes you to test your luck to the limits. However, it’s not all about luck—the odds are known, and it’s up to you to decide when to take risks and when to play it safe. Will you risk it all in hopes of creating the best magical potion, or will you play it safe, not impressing anyone with your knowledge but ensuring your survival? The choice is yours—but be ready to see what happens when you go too far!
