You are the founder of a new village in the Middle Ages, in the years following the Great Plague. The loss of so many people created great problems for the survivors. Many people the villagers once depended on for basic necessities like food, shelter, and clothing are gone. Artisans were left without suppliers, merchants lost customers, and many lost their properties and workshops to save themselves from this vicious disease.
The board game Villagers gives players a chance to build their medieval village. Each player will try to bring people into their village who will be useful for its progress. Each character will bring something unique to the player and allow their village to become richer. Combine the different abilities of all residents to create a functional whole and raise your village to new heights. Although all players will do their best to assemble all the parts into a harmonious whole that will secure enough resources for victory, only one player can utilize the skills of their villagers well enough to win the game!
