The board game Welcome to the Moon uses the same mechanisms as the previous title Welcome To..., but now you can play in campaign mode across eight adventure sheets! On your turn, you flip cards from three decks to create three different combinations of starship and corresponding action, and then all players choose one of these three combinations. You use the number to fill in a space on your adventure sheet in numerical order to be the first to complete your mission.
Welcome to the Moon contains eight different adventures that form a complete story with an increasing level of difficulty. You can play these eight adventures independently or consecutively to play out your own story. The eight adventure sheets have different mechanisms from the classic Welcome To... concept, and when you play in campaign mode, you will make choices that alter the next adventure, meaning that every campaign will differ from the last!
