In the game Zooloretto, you are the owner of a zoo. By adding new animals and equipping the zoo, you will attract visitors who bring you points. On their turn, players draw animals from a bag and place them on one of the trucks on the board. When all the trucks are filled, each player takes one and populates their zoo with those animals. Since there are more different animals than you have space for in the zoo, the excess animals must be placed in the reserve barn. Players can upgrade the zoo by purchasing additional animal enclosures and kiosks with food and sweets to attract visitors. The more animals you have in one enclosure, the more points you will receive, so you will strive to take trucks with the animals you need. Animals in the reserve barn bring negative points, but players can mutually buy animals from that barn for themselves if they see they need them to complete their zoo.
