After a shipwreck, you and a small group of survivors (teammates/opponents) have managed to reach a deserted island. Initially, the island looked like paradise on Earth—sandy beaches, palm trees on the seashore—but very quickly, reality catches up: you don't have much food or water, which means you don't have much time!
The board game Hellapagos Big Box places you in this unusual environment, and the only way to save yourselves is to build a large raft to escape the island. But time is short because gray clouds have started to gather over the island. A hurricane is on the horizon!
To successfully escape the island in time, players will have to organize and divide up. Some will go fishing to gather food, others will collect water, someone will have to go for wood for the raft, and there is always a chance to find some supplies in the wreckage of the half-stranded ship. But while fishing, you might run into snakes, and if you go exploring the wreckage, you might easily stumble upon a cotton swab or car keys that are completely useless instead of water or a gun or anything helpful, and you've wasted your turn. You will have to team up and defeat this nightmare, but be ready to sacrifice 'friends,' because when the water and food run out, turmoil begins within the team, and someone will pass judgment on someone else. The only question is whether you have enough allies or if the majority agrees that you are the expendable one on the raft!
