Luz (in Serbian) is a fascinating trick-taking game that completely flips the rules you are used to. Here, it’s not just about the cards you hold, but how well you understand what you—quite literally—cannot see.
What sets Luz apart from any other card game is its innovative way of handling your hand. You hold your cards without looking at them. While you are aware of the suits (colors) in your hand, only your opponents can see the actual values of your cards.
By observing the cards in your opponents' hands and tracking what has already been played, you must logically deduce the strength of your own hand. Based on your deductions, you must bet on the exact number of tricks you think you will win.
