The bustling market in Nottingham is filled with goods from all over the kingdom. Most of the merchandise is completely legal; however, Prince John wants to ensure that no illegal goods are sold. He tasks the Sheriff with inspecting the bags of merchants in search of contraband. The Sheriff is shrewd, but he is not above bribery, so he can be arranged to look the other way. Which merchant will ultimately have the best goods and make the biggest profit?
The board game Sheriff of Nottingham 2nd Edition (in Serbian) alternately assigns players the role of the Sheriff, searching for illicit goods, and the Merchant, trying to fill their stall with the best merchandise. The Sheriff can inspect any bag they want, but they must be careful, because if there is nothing illegal in the bag, the Sheriff must pay a penalty. This new edition includes updated rules, a new sixth merchant, the Black Market, and Sheriff's Deputies.
