When the Persians attacked Greece at the beginning of the fifth century BC, they realized that only one civilization could prevail in the Eastern Mediterranean. Both civilizations had developed exceptional inventions: theater, philosophy, gardens, laws... Both had built magnificent monuments that placed them on the canonized list of the seven great wonders of the world. Both civilizations had incredible knowledge and military power. Yet, it was impossible for them to coexist peacefully. One had to triumph, and the other had to fall!

The board game 7 Wonders Duel is in many ways similar to its predecessor, 7 Wonders. Just like in the board game 7 Wonders, players will go through three different ages collecting resource cards, managing them, and attempting to advance military or scientific development to grow their civilization and complete world wonders.
What is different from the regular 7 Wonders is, as the name itself says, the board game 7 Wonders Duel is designed for only two players.
A player can win in one of three ways in the 7 Wonders Duel board game: either by military supremacy or by scientific dominance, or, if neither of these two conditions is met, the player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
You and your opponent develop an ancient civilization and strive to enter the legends that your descendants will retell—but only one of you can win.
