Welcome to the world of alchemists. It is up to you to perform experiments to discover the magical properties of your ingredients. Demonstrate your knowledge by selling potions. Use the money to buy artifacts to advance your research. Publish, publish, publish! Earn grants and expose the charlatans who think they can be your rivals.
Alchemists is a board game full of strategy, risk assessment, and deduction. Will you experiment for the sake of knowledge or for victory points? Will you pay to research the latest toad theory or save up for new tools? And do you really think it was wise to sell that potion to the massive barbarian carrying a sharp axe when you weren't entirely sure of its effects? The decisions you make will prove whether you are truly the world's greatest alchemist.
The board game Alchemists is designed to be played with an app that turns your tablet or phone into an ingredient card reader. The app is free. However, if for any reason you do not wish to use the app, this game also includes the option to play without it. In that case, one player must take on the role of the game master.
