The deep waters of the ocean hide many secrets and unknown life forms. Among the sharks, whales, corals, and shrimp lives an entire civilization of Sea-folk. For centuries, the Great Kingdoms of Aquatica have built their world, raised their children, and managed to create and prosper. But now, their resources are exhausted, and they are forced to explore the ocean depths in search of new ones.
The board game Aquatica offers you the chance to become one of the powerful Ocean Kings struggling to bring glory to their empire. To win the game, you must capture and buy new locations, recruit new characters, and complete goals, as each of these actions grants you victory points. To do this, you must play cards from your hand—each with a unique set of actions—and attempt to combine them as best as you can. Don't think it's simple! However, with a good strategy, you can perform up to ten actions in a row during a single turn.
You will encounter a multitude of mysterious ocean creatures and have the honor of taking them into your hand. With their help, you will explore unknown locations and rise found resources from the ocean depths to your kingdom!
