In the dystopian 1930s, the industrial revolution pushed the exploitation of fossil resources to their absolute limits, and the only thing left that can quench the thirst of massive machines and unstoppable engineering progress is the unlimited hydroelectric power provided by rivers.
In board game Barrage, players represent one of four international companies gathering massive machinery, innovative patents, and brilliant engineers, all with the goal of finding the best locations to collect and exploit water. Barrage is a strategic resource-management board game where players compete to build magnificent dams. They build them to increase storage capacity and deliver all the potential power generated from the energy turbines of their power plants.
The blue gold rush has just begun!
