90,000 BC: A great Ice Age is fast approaching. Another titanic struggle for global supremacy has unwittingly begun between various animal species.
The board game Dominant Species abstractly recreates a small portion of ancient history: the onset of an ice age and what that entails for living beings trying to adapt to Earth's changing climate.
In this board game, players take on the roles of one of six major animal groups—mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, arachnids, or insects. Everyone begins the game in a state of natural balance relative to the other animals, but that won't last, because in this game, only the fittest survive!
And someone had better become dominant soon, because it’s getting very cold...
