Settlers from four great civilizations—Romans, Barbarians, Egyptians, and Japanese—have discovered a new land rich with valuable resources and are busily attempting to expand their borders. They will construct new buildings and structures to grow their economy, discover mines and wheat fields for precious resources, and build barracks and training centers for their armies. Soon, they will discover that the land is not large enough for everyone, and that is when the war begins.
The game consists of a civilization deck and a common deck. On their turn, players draw two cards from their civilization deck and four cards from the common deck. Players keep one of those four common cards and pass the rest to the player on their left (drafting).
Once the cards are distributed, the production phase begins, and players receive their resources. Afterward, players can use those resources to build structures that grant bonuses. Some buildings require the demolition of previously built ones, but these generally provide greater benefits.
Players place their cards on the board; at the end of the game, each civilization card is worth 2 points, while each common card is worth 1 point. However, common buildings built by one player can be destroyed by others. You need razing tokens to achieve this. When cards are destroyed, they yield specific resources. Players can also place shield tokens to increase the cost of destroying a building, though this protection only lasts for one turn.
What makes the game interesting is that each civilization has its own playstyle and development strategy:

• Barbarians earn bonus points when they destroy a building.
• Romans receive bonus points for building structures of the same type.

After 5 rounds, the player with the most points is the winner.
