Inventors of the South Tigris is a board game set during the golden age of the Abbasid Caliphate, around 850 AD. Players take on the roles of innovators in Baghdad, a city that has become a hub for mathematicians, astronomers, chemists, and physicians. The goal is to earn the most victory points by developing, building, testing, and publishing various devices, as well as training craftspeople, enhancing workshops, researching, and influencing the three scientific guilds.
The Promo Pack for "Inventors of the South Tigris" includes 9 tiles and a rules reference sheet. These additional tiles introduce new elements to the game, providing players with extra strategies and opportunities to achieve victory.
