Working from the shadows, Mind MGMT once used its agents with extraordinary psychic abilities to stop global crises. However, absolute power corrupts, and Mind MGMT is rotting from within. To re-establish control, Mind MGMT is deploying secret operatives around the world to recruit other psychic-tuned individuals to their side. How can this enigmatic organization, bent on global dominance, be defeated?
Fortunately, several rogue agents realized that Mind MGMT had been compromised and defected, turning their backs on the syndicate. They now use their own psychic abilities to prevent Mind MGMT from achieving its nefarious goals.
The board game Mind MGMT, inspired by the comic book series of the same name, not only impresses with its extraordinary design but also introduces players to an equally original story and gameplay mechanics. In this game, one player is the Recruiter who controls Mind MGMT and must scour the city for new recruits. They move on a secret map, trying to visit locations that match one of their three randomly drawn feature cards. They can also use their four Immortals to protect locations.
Meanwhile, all other players control agents who must try to stop Mind MGMT before it’s too late! They ask the Recruiter questions and, from the answers they receive, deduce the next location to visit. The rogue agents can use "mental notes" with dry-erase markers to track all the information provided.
Mind MGMT wins by collecting twelve recruits or surviving for 16 turns, while the agents can only win by capturing the Mind MGMT Recruiter, which they do when they believe they are in the same block as them!
