The story of My Little Scythe: Pie in the Sky begins on the eve of the 3000th Harvest Tournament, where tales are retold of Pomme's ancient animals traveling to distant lands to establish their kingdoms. To achieve this, Pomme’s conquerors worked together to build the legendary airship, Kai, investing in it the knowledge of all nine animal species. By sharing the ship's power and speed, each kingdom established its own foundations. But one year, the airship and its passengers—the Owls and the Foxes—traveled to the far borders and were never heard from again... until now.
As the animals gather at the turning point, the legendary lost airship appears on the horizon, carrying the missing seekers, the Foxes and the Owls. As if this weren't enough reason to celebrate, Pomme's explorers realize that the airship Kai still responds to every animal species. The stage for the greatest Harvest Tournament in 3000 years is set!
