We're thrilled to introduce Pagan Fate of Roanoke – an expandable deduction card game set in colonial America in 1587, where the conflict between a witch and a witch hunter unfolds before your very eyes!
At the core of this asymmetrical game lies a struggle for survival: the witch strives to complete a ritual of renaturation, while the witch hunter tries to discover her true identity among nine villagers. Each turn, both players use their action pawns on active villagers to draw cards, play cards, and gain influence.
As the Witch, your fifty-card deck allows you to brew powerful potions, improve your familiar, cast enchantments and charms; while as a witch hunter your fifty-card deck offers you the ability to enlist allies, claim strategic locations, ruthlessly investigate the villagers.
Both sides have specific ways to win. The Witch's goal is to gather enough secrets to perform a ritual so powerful that the entire region will fall under her spell, and Mother Nature will reclaim the island! However, the Hunter's goal is to gather all the allies and support they can to bring the Witch to justice before her deadly ritual is complete.
