Planet Unknown is a board game that takes you to a future where humanity has exhausted Earth's resources and is now seeking new planets for colonization. As the leader of an expedition, your mission is to develop the most successful planet, balancing infrastructure building and resource management, while facing challenges such as meteor strikes and competition from other colonizers.

Planet Unknown is a competitive game for 1-6 players, where each player attempts to develop the best planet. Each round, players place polyomino-shaped, dual-resource tiles on their planets, building the infrastructure needed to support life. Every tile placement allows two actions associated with the infrastructure types on the tile. Some tile placements may trigger "meteor" strikes, making development harder and preventing scoring in affected rows and columns. The game features an innovative rotating space station, the "Lazy S.U.S.A.N.," enabling simultaneous yet strategic tile selection for all players.
