The board game Santa Maria gives players the opportunity to build their own personal colony by placing building tiles. Once you construct buildings, you can activate them using your workers, which are represented by dice. When placing workers, you must be careful to position them as efficiently as possible to utilize their full potential.
As the game progresses, you gather more resources, establish shipping routes, send out your conquistadors, and increase your religious power to recruit monks. These monks can later take on various roles—becoming scholars, missionaries, or priests—thereby granting you different advantages. The player who collects the most points after three rounds is the winner. The available characters, bonuses, and buildings vary from game to game, ensuring that no two sessions will ever feel the same!
