Humanity has long been limited to travel by land and sea, but from the greatest minds of Eastern Europe, a new technology has emerged: airships. These steam-driven behemoths soar freely through the skies, aiding the expansion of empires through innovation and conflict. As the years pass, the world has realized that no single faction will rise above the rest for any significant length of time. In hopes of reducing conflict and increasing peace, the leaders of Europe begin to gather every year so that the factions can resolve their differences in a new way...
Scythe: The Wind Gambit is an expansion for the original renowned game Scythe, adding two new modules that can be played together or separately at any player count, either alone or with the base game:

1. Airships: (1 miniature per faction; 16 tiles) An airship is a new type of unit that is distinctly different from characters, mechs, and workers. Unlike those units, airships never control territories. They move using the Move action, and rivers and lakes do not impede their movement. Each airship has two randomly combined abilities (1 aggressive and 1 passive ability; one combination for all players).
2. Resolutions: (8 tiles) The resolution module changes the way a game of Scythe ends. If playing with this module, ignore the standard end-game trigger (where the game stops and ends as soon as a player places their sixth star). Instead, the resolution tile for the current game will determine when and how the game concludes.

Note: Scythe The Wind Gambit is not a standalone game and requires a base game Scythe to be played!
