Four millennia ago, on the eastern bank of the Nile River, the foundation for the temple of the god Amun-Ra was laid. Over the course of two thousand years, the temple complex gradually expanded and became widely known as Ipet-Isut ("The Most Select of Places"), boasting the largest religious building in the world. Today, this site is known as Karnak, located in Luxor in modern-day Egypt.

You will worship some of the greatest Egyptian gods—Horus (god of the sky), Thoth (god of the moon, learning, and writing), and Osiris (god of the underworld)—as well as the goddesses Hathor (goddess of motherhood) and Bastet (goddess of war).
You must carefully manage the balance of your actions, preparing for judgment by Maat, the goddess of truth and justice; for when she arrives, your heart will be weighed, and the judgment of your deeds will determine your destiny.
