Explore two new boards and new strategies for the board game Terraforming Mars! Terraforming Mars Hellas & Elysium is the first expansion for the popular board game of the same name and consists of a double-sided game board that represents two new areas of Mars:

1. Elysium takes players almost to the opposite side of the Martian equator, with huge lowlands for oceans in the north and a dry, mineral-rich south. Place a tile on Olympus Mons, the highest peak in the solar system, to get three free cards!
2. Hellas, the southern wilderness, includes Mars's south pole and the enormous Hellas basin that seems made to become a gigantic lake. Building around the pole gives you new bonuses for placement in the form of heat and, eventually, water.

Each of these maps consists of new sets of milestones and awards that are relevant to that specific map. Place three tiles around the south pole to be the Polar Explorer, for example, or race to have the most estates near the water on Elysium!
Terraforming Mars Hellas & Elysium is an expansion and not a standalone game. The core Terraforming Mars board game is required to play this expansion!
