The board game Western Legends is, above all, a thrilling open-world adventure for 2–6 players set in the American Wild West. You and your friends take on the roles of historical figures from that era, earning your legendary status in various ways: gambling, driving cattle, prospecting for gold, robbing the bank, fighting bandits, becoming outlaws, or keeping the peace. The possibilities are nearly endless. Your task is simply to collect as many points as possible and win, in whatever way suits you best.
Each of your turns begins by drawing poker cards and/or receiving cash. You then choose three actions. Possible actions include moving across the map (how far depends on whether you have a horse), performing a location-specific action (such as mining for gold if you are at a gold mine, or gambling if you are at a saloon), fighting other players at the same location (fighting them, robbing them, or arresting them if they are wanted), playing poker cards with action abilities, and much more. Choose your path to victory—you can live the life of a wanted criminal or become a legendary marshal! Or simply decide to remain neutral, mixing your playstyle to earn a win through your skill at poker, gold prospecting, or a perfectly legal duel at high noon! The game ends once anyone crosses the point threshold determined at the start of the game (depending on how long you want the session to last). Afterward, points are tallied, but they are also deducted for every wound you have sustained!
With an exceptionally interactive, narrative experience, Western Legends allows you to play how you want and change your strategy on the fly to react to other players and the game state. Every game tells a story determined by the players at the table. How will you be remembered?
