The board game Batman: Everybody Lies is a detective game in which each player takes on the role of one of four key investigators—the prominent journalist Warren Spacey, the persistent reporter Vicki Vale, the brutal detective Harvey Bullock, and the cunning Catwoman—who are drawn into a series of mysterious events unfolding in Gotham City.
Throughout the game, players cooperatively make decisions that will determine the further course of the investigation and try to solve a series of challenging cases. They visit familiar locations in Gotham and encounter famous characters like Batman, The Penguin, Scarecrow, etc., while trying to collect evidence, identify suspects, and use the gathered information to save the city from crime. In addition to this main goal, each player has their own secret goals and unique winning conditions depending on the character they represent. Will you manage to save Gotham from the villains, and will you rise as the most successful in solving mysterious crimes?
