The date is today, the location is London. You have just left the police station, and you’ve also just been informed that a dead body was found in a nearby park. Your boss is calling to tell you that the latest case is yours! This, of course, isn't your first case, but something about all of this feels suspicious; your detective instinct has never failed you before. Without a second thought, you set your lingering doubts aside, get into the car, and drive straight to the crime scene—it’s time to get to work!
Chronicles of Crime is a cooperative board game of crime investigation that blends an app, a board game, and a touch of Virtual Reality! Using the same physical components (the board, locations, characters, and items), players will be able to play many different scenarios and solve as many diverse crime stories as possible. Players launch the app, choose the scenario they want to play, and follow the story. The goal is to catch the killer of the current case in the shortest time possible.
The Chronicles of Crime board game includes 5 different scenarios. For the "VR" experience, only a mobile phone is required. Players simply attach VR glasses (purchased separately/optional) to their mobile device and place them on their nose, holding the device in front of their eyes to immerse themselves in the game world and search for clues in a virtual environment. Due to its mystery, theme, and multiple ways to play, the game has earned numerous awards!
