Detective: City of Angels is a detective game set in the dark and violent world of 1940s Los Angeles. This is a game of mystery, deception, and investigation in which players take on the roles of LAPD homicide detectives, hungry for glory and ready to do whatever it takes to successfully close a case—even if it means intimidating suspects, concealing evidence, and hiring snitches to get their fellow detectives out of the way. One player will take on the role of 'The Chisel,' whose job is to stall the investigation and misdirect the detectives at every turn using bluffing, manipulation, and lies. Inspired by the film The Big Sleep and the video game L.A. Noire, this board game offers a unique mystery-solving experience. Will one detective rise above the rest and close the latest murder case, or will the investigation contain too much doubt and confusion for the detectives to solve the crime?
