The year is 1926. The city of Arkham. A museum exhibit of exotic rarities and occult artifacts is slowly beginning to tear down the barrier between our world and the ancient evil lurking between dimensions. Gates to other worlds are starting to open within ours, and from them emerge beings of superhuman strength. Animals, madmen, and those with sensitive minds are falling prey to the supernatural forces sent from these other realms. Amidst the spreading chaos, a group of investigators is in a race against time to locate the mysterious symbols necessary to seal the gates and forever thwart the Ancient Ones in their desire to turn our world to ash.

Elder Sign is a cooperative board game of supernatural intrigue designed by Richard Launius, the creator of the Arkham Horror game.
