Finally, it is time for a vacation again! This year, it is a trip to a small idyllic village in the mountains. To avoid the hassle of driving, you decide to travel by train this time!
Three hours late, you somehow manage to arrive at your accommodation, where you find an excursion brochure that includes a tour of the local castle. The brochure looks amateurish, as if it were homemade, but you really love medieval castles! The next day, you set off for the tour and arrive at the castle after a leisurely walk. There is no ticket office, nor anyone else around. Even better, you can enjoy the exploration alone, undisturbed! You enter inside and, walking through the castle, you reach the room containing the throne.
Suddenly, the large wooden door closes behind you, and that is when you realize this was not the smartest idea you've ever had. The castle is full of riddles.
The board game Exit: The Forbidden Castle introduces you to an ESCAPE ROOM environment where players must possess team spirit, creativity, and the power of deduction to solve riddles, collect hidden objects, and find the EXIT. If you fail to do so, your host might not let you leave and go home.
