The board game Middara: Unintentional Malum – Act 1 is a miniature game in which you determine your own adventures. Players take on the roles of a group of adventurers in an ultramodern fantasy world that exists parallel to ours on Earth. During the game, players will experience a narrative-driven adventure that lasts over 90 hours. Throughout the game, you and your friends will face challenges that will force you to make difficult decisions that will change the course and outcome of the game itself. During your adventure, you will face many dangerous opponents and participate in fierce battles. Middara features an innovative dice-based combat system for encounters. Based on their equipment and abilities, players will have access to unique combinations that will increase their strength in various ways. What makes Middara so compelling is that the outcomes of story decisions and encounters have far-reaching effects that determine how the story progresses and resolves. Friends and family might be killed, or they might survive. Players might completely avoid some problems, only to face an entirely new challenge.
