This War of Mine: The Board Game is an adaptation of the award-winning video game that depicts the drama of civilians trapped in a war-torn city. You will enter this experience as a group of civilians stuck in a besieged and conflicted city, enduring many hardships that often test the very essence of humanity. During the day, you will take refuge in a ruined tenement building, which you will maintain and manage by: clearing rubble, searching various rooms (often behind barricaded doors), and building beds, improvised workshops, stoves, tools, water filters, and small animal traps. You will also repair the structures within the living quarters, bolster the security of your shelter, and strive to keep it warm during the winter months.
Ultimately, the goal of the game is to truly survive in a way that allows you to live with the decisions you have made. The board game significantly expands the universe of the original game and emphasizes the depth of the plot, but its primary focus remains on human interactions driven by survival instincts and group decision-making.
