In the years preceding the War of the Ring, the Dark Lord Sauron used subtle machinations to attempt to influence the will of the kings and rulers of the Free Peoples. His goal was to turn them into powerless puppets, or at the very least, to weaken them in preparation for his plans of conquest. When war came, they fought bravely against the Dark Lord, but for some of them, the weakness Sauron had cultivated proved nearly fatal.
War of the Ring: Kings of Middle-earth is the third expansion for the board game War of the Ring. it focuses on the roles of the rulers of the Free Peoples, with new figures and rules that bring Théoden, Denethor, Dáin, Brand, and Thranduil to life as they join the epic conflict!
