Society has collapsed, and only a few survivors remain. They have banded together, searching for shelter and gear. But they aren't content with just hiding—oh no, they are ready for a full-scale zombie onslaught!
The board game Zombicide 2nd Edition places players in the roles of survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Working together, they must fight their way through various missions, fulfilling objectives and, of course, killing zombies! With every new kill, their Adrenaline points rise. Over time, players will grow stronger, but the zombies will be drawn to their actions, arriving in ever-increasing numbers. Will the survivors stay alive, or will they end up as a zombie's lunch?!
The second edition of Zombicide features more refined and slightly streamlined rules, as well as rule updates regarding ranged firing priority and interactions with vehicles, doors, and more. A "dark zone" has also been added—a space where zombies are protected from survivor attacks, which will certainly not be helpful to the survivors. New components and miniatures are to be expected from a second edition, but that in no way diminishes their value.
Over the past nine years, the Zombicide board game has sold over two million copies and is one of the pioneers of the cooperative zombie apocalypse franchise.
