Mansions of Madness is a cooperative board game full of horror and mystery, inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythology. The plot takes place in the same universe as the board games Arkham Horror, Eldritch Horror, and Elder Sign.

The Second Edition of the popular board game Mansions of Madness brings changes and innovations that players have asked for. The biggest change is the removal of the Keeper role (i.e., the player who runs the game against the other players) and the addition of an application that performs that job. This turns the game into a fully cooperative experience. Thanks to the application, the scenario adapts depending on the players' actions. Players are in the role of investigators exploring a house about which they have heard rumors of strange occurrences. Each player gets their own investigator with different statistics like Health (HP), Sanity, Knowledge, Strength, etc. Each investigator has a special ability. At the start of the game, players choose one of the scenarios on the application. Players begin the game with 3 rooms revealed, but as they progress through the house, the application will show them which rooms to add to the board. Players can investigate clues, mysterious events, and puzzles. At the end of each player's turn, the Mythos phase occurs. In it, the application creates events and obstacles for the players or spawns monsters that the players must overcome. Players fight monsters with special weapons and spells that they find in the house. If the players successfully complete the scenario, they win the game. If you want to spice up your game, add one of the expansions like Mansions of Madness: Path Of The Serpent or Mansions of Madness: Horrific Journeys.
